German Airways expands its fleet: additional Embraer E190 aircraft for the 2026 summer flight schedule

Cologne/Bonn, 30 January 2026 - German Airways continues its growth strategy and will expand its fleet with an additional Embraer E190 aircraft for the Summer Schedule 2026. The aircraft will carry the registration D-ABKE and will be based in Germany, further strengthening the airline’s operational footprint in its home market and its capacity for European charter and ACMI operations.

The Embraer E190 has proven to be a highly reliable and efficient aircraft within the German Airways fleet. It combines strong operational performance with a modern cabin and high flexibility, making it ideally suited for wet-lease, charter and ACMI missions. The fleet expansion reflects the sustained demand from customers for reliable capacity and operational excellence.
