In future, he will support Zeitfracht Luftfahrt Holding GmbH in an advisory capacity as Chairman of the Advisory Board. The company is thus honouring B\u00f6hnke's wish to take a step back professionally and hand over the baton to the next generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A trained lawyer and pilot, B\u00f6hnke began his flying career in 1974, joining the predecessor of today's WDL Aviation, \"Westdeutsche Luftwerbung\" (WDL), founded by Theodor W\u00fcllenkemper in 1955, in 1982. He quickly rose from pilot to flight operations manager and managing director and successfully steered the fortunes of WDL from 1985.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wolfram Simon-Schr\u00f6ter, Managing Director of the Zeitfracht Group: \"We would like to thank Walter B\u00f6hnke for everything he has done for WDL; his commitment and expertise have made WDL a permanent fixture and a reliable partner in German aviation.
