Airline Walter flies for Greek Sky Express for the first time

Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (LGW) will be flying to destinations in Greece for the Greek airline Sky Express for the first time from 5 August 2019. The Dash 8 Q400 regional aircraft will be based at Athens Airport. In accordance with the wet lease agreement, the time freight subsidiary LGW will serve the airports of Heraklion, Santorini and Chania from there.

WDL Aviation, also a subsidiary of the Zeitfracht Group, is currently cooperating with Sky Express once again as part of a wet lease agreement. The Greek airline has been on a growth trajectory since it was founded in 2005.
