German Airways flies for the Bundesliga: New co-operation partner of 1. FC Union Berlin

German Airways flew the 1. FC Union Berlin football team to a Bundesliga away match in Munich for the first time on Friday. The "Eisern" team travelled to the Bavarian capital in a regional Q-400 aircraft operated by German Airways. There they will face the German record champions FC Bayern Munich on Saturday. German Airways will also fly the Berlin Bundesliga team to the match against SC Freiburg next week. The flights are part of a longer-term co-operation with the new Bundesliga team.
Elisabeth Jesse, CCO of the Zeitfracht Group, on the cooperation agreement with Union Berlin: "As a traditional Berlin company, we are delighted to be able to support the successful Union Berlin team as a cooperation partner in the current Bundesliga season." German Airways flies for various Bundesliga football clubs. VfL Wolfsburg, Fortuna Düsseldorf and Eintracht Frankfurt also rely on the airline's services.
German Airways wishes Union Berlin every success for the upcoming matches when, as the club's anthem says, "Victory in front of our eyes, looking far ahead; let's travel the nation together."
