Your tasks
- Manage and oversee all logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, warehousing and inventory management
- Monitoring deliveries until the goods have been successfully collected
- Identification and clarification of supplier problems and active order tracking
- Processing/support of strategic purchasing topics & projects
- Supervision and processing of all administrative tasks in connection with the delivery of parts, materials and services
- Close cooperation with the Maintenance, MCC, Camo and Warehouse departments, as well as 3rd-party maintenance service providers
- Carrying out parts consumption analyses to determine the required stock levels and setting up a reliable stock forecasting system
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including EASA/FAA requirements 145
- Support in the purchase of aircraft parts, tools, materials and services for maintenance (line and base maintenance, C-checks, engineering requests for MOD, AD, SB)
- Support with worldwide market enquiries and purchasing from known and new suppliers
Your profile
- You have a strong hands-on mentality and are not afraid to lend a hand physically
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the aviation industry
- Mastery of logistics software and Microsoft Office applications
- Impeccable criminal record
- Valid background check in accordance with the Aviation Security Act
- Language skills German and English language fluently in word and writing
- Familiarity and confidence in dealing with IT systems & technical documentation (internal and external)
- High communication skills
- Independent working style with the ability to remain calm even in stressful times
