Safety Risk Officer (m/w/d)

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Operate and continuously improve our AOC-wide Safety Risk Management
  • Analyze safety-relevant events and reports
  • Compile reports to identify trends and developments regarding our risks
  • Verify the effectiveness of risk mitigations in coordination with our Compliance Management
  • Design and deliver risk management training to strengthen our safety culture
  • Support our functional departments by facilitating risk assessments
  • Support our Fatigue Risk Management processes
  • Create and maintain safety management documentation
  • Contribute to the analysis and implementation of regulatory updates
  • Contribute to the preparation and implementation of audits
  • Work flexibly in all other areas of our Safety Management System

 

 

 What you need to bring:

  • A university degree with a focus on aviation or a comparable qualification
  • Having a commercial pilot license is an advantage
  • Sound theoretical and practical experience in safety- or quality management within the aviation sector is an advantage
  • Knowledge of relevant ICAO & EASA regulatory requirements
  • Enjoy challenging tasks and an analytical way of working
  • Good co-operation and teamwork skills
  • Solid knowledge of office software
  • Familiarity with safety or quality management software is an advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and German
  • Impeccable criminal record

Mitarbeiter CAMO / Continuing Airworthiness Management Staff (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the continued airworthiness of all aircraft operated by German Airways and the functionality of all operational and emergency equipment
  • Compliance with EASA Part-M / Part-CAMO regulations and National Aviation Authority (LBA) requirements
  • Commissioning of maintenance measures on the basis of the approved maintenance programs
  • Preparation of non-routine maintenance events
  • Work with the assigned Part-145 AMO, Flight Operations Department, internal CAMO coordination personnel, and other relevant external entities on matters pertaining to airworthiness, applicable regulations, airworthiness management procedures, and/or CAME
  • Evaluation of AD, LTA, SB and technical information of TC and STC holders as well as authorities
  • Incorporation of the maintenance measures carried out in the Maintenance Management Software
  • Execution of error analyses
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all technical records and documentation
  • Airworthiness review support for the issuance of a certificate of airworthiness

 What you need to bring:

  • Technical college degree or Aircraft Technician qualification (Part-66 CAT B) with additional training
  • Desirable Knowledge and experience related to continuing airworthiness and aviation specific regulations
  • Desirable knowledge, experience and application of aviation safety standards
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant EU operating and maintenance regulations and related requirements and procedures
  • Impeccable criminal record
  • Language skills German and English language fluently in word and writing

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the maintenance of civil aircraft, but without completed technical training
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the maintenance of civil aircraft and completed technical training (not aircraft-specific)
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in civil aircraft maintenance and completed Part-147 basic training
  • valid EASA PART66 AML CAT B1
  • Type rating ERJ-190 (ATA 104 Level III) at a Part-147 approved training organization with an appropriate focus
  • Ability to work in a problem-solving oriented manner
  • High level of team spirit, resilience and service orientation
  • Strong sense of responsibility and work ethic
  • Fluent German and good English skills
