Michael Knoth becomes new Managing Director of WDL Aviation

Michael Knoth (46) will become the new Managing Director of Cologne-based airline WDL Aviation on 1 October 2019.
A qualified lawyer, tax consultant and auditor, Mr Knoth can look back on a long career in the aviation industry. In recent years, he has been Commercial Director at the airlines Eurowings and Germanwings, which are part of the Lufthansa Group. In addition, he was most recently CFO of Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (LGW), a regional airline recently acquired by the Zeitfracht Group.

The Zeitfracht Group has grown strongly in recent years through acquisitions in the aviation sector. In addition to the Cologne-based charter airline WDL Aviation, the Berlin logistics company also took over LGW, which is based at Dortmund Airport.
