Cologne/Bonn, 6 November 2024. Olympic bobsleigh champion and multiple World Cup winner Laura Nolte is now working with German Airways on a long-term basis. The athlete and the second-oldest German airline have signed a sponsorship agreement covering several seasons.

During this time, the exceptional athlete's bobsleighs will feature the German Airways design and she will also wear the airline's logo on her clothing. In this way, Laura Nolte also refers to her home country at international competitions: the German Airways logo also bears the German national colours of black, red and gold. In addition to the bobsleigh athlete, German Airways also sponsors her team-mate and push athlete, Deborah Levi. The two athletes will jointly represent the German Airways brand as brand ambassadors in future. The airline expects a particularly large and international presence from the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo in 2026.

Born in Unna in 1998, Laura Nolte is currently studying business psychology and is a sports soldier in the German Armed Forces. Her sporting successes to date are outstanding. In 2022, she became the youngest bobsleigh Olympic champion in Beijing in the two-man bobsleigh, together with her push athlete Deborah Levi. Laura Nolte is also a two-time World Champion, four-time European Champion, multiple World Cup winner and won the overall World Cup in 2023/24.
