WDL Aviation flies for Greek Sky Express

Cologne, 24 April 2019

The Cologne-based airline WDL Aviation is now flying for the Greek airline Sky Express. The wet lease agreement includes a BAe 146 regional jet with the registration D-AWUE.

WDL, which is part of the Berlin-based Zeitfracht Group and has its headquarters at Cologne/Bonn Airport, is now active in its 18th country in Europe. Further co-operations exist with British Airways and HOP, among others.

WDL Aviation is one of Europe's leading providers of aircraft leasing for regional jets. The airline's fleet consists of six BAe 146 jets. Since November 2018, the
The company has launched an in-flight programme for a further four Embraer E190 jets, the first of which will be in service for customers from 2 May 2019. The Embraer jets are one of the best-selling regional jets in the world and are used by many established European airlines.
